About Recruitta

What does Recruitta actually do?

Recruitta helps organisations plan, source, mobilise and manage the people, services, supplies and specialist expertise needed to deliver complex operational requirements. That covers temporary staffing and recruitment, facilities management, project and operational delivery, procurement and supply, and training.

Is Recruitta a recruitment agency?

Recruitment is one of five divisions. Recruitta operates as a business solutions partner, and staffing is frequently delivered alongside facilities management, project delivery or managed supply under one point of accountability.

Where is Recruitta based and where does it operate?

Recruitta Limited (Scottish company number SC667162) has offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Plymouth, with UK-wide delivery supported by regional teams, a national supply network and vetted specialist partners.

How does Recruitta deliver a contract?

Through a consistent six-stage model: Understand, Plan, Resource, Mobilise, Deliver and Improve — with named ownership, an agreed escalation route and reporting set at mobilisation.

Solutions

Can Recruitta deliver more than one solution on the same contract?

Yes. Staffing, facilities management, project delivery, procurement and supply, and training can be delivered individually or combined under a single point of contact and one governance framework.

Do you work with public sector organisations?

Yes. We are set up for public sector expectations around compliance documentation, service standards, reporting cycles and measurable social value. See our Governance & Social Value page for detail.

How quickly can you mobilise?

Mobilisation timescales depend on scope, site access and compliance requirements. We agree a mobilisation plan with named owners and dates before day one so expectations are clear on both sides.

Which parts of the UK do you cover?

We deliver across Scotland and England, with wider UK coverage supported by regional teams and vetted strategic delivery partners.

Industries

Which sectors does Recruitta support?

Higher education, healthcare, hospitality, commercial property, public sector, and industrial and manufacturing organisations across the UK.

Do you tailor delivery to the sector?

Yes. Compliance requirements, site access, shift patterns and reporting expectations differ by sector, so the mobilisation plan and service standards are built around the operating environment rather than applied generically.

Can one contract cover several sites or regions?

Yes. Multi-site and multi-region requirements are delivered through regional operations and partner coverage, with Recruitta remaining the single point of accountability.

Temporary staffing & recruitment

Which sectors do you supply temporary staff to?

Healthcare and social care support roles, hospitality, commercial, industrial and manufacturing, administration, facilities and cleaning.

Do you provide regulated care-at-home services?

No. Recruitta provides staffing and workforce solutions to health and social care organisations. Regulated care-at-home services are delivered by our sister company, PurpleNest Homecare.

How are workers checked before an assignment?

Checks are matched to the role and can include identity and right-to-work verification, references, qualification checks and, where the role requires it, criminal record or safeguarding checks.

Can you cover short-notice and out-of-hours shifts?

Yes. Cover is planned around your demand pattern, with escalation routes agreed at mobilisation so short-notice gaps are handled without repeated chasing.

Facilities management

What does your facilities management cover?

Commercial cleaning, housekeeping, deep cleaning, periodic works, student accommodation room readiness, and wider soft facilities and operational support.

Do you support student accommodation turnarounds?

Yes. We plan and resource room readiness programmes around peak turnaround windows, with supervision and sign-off against agreed room standards.

Who supervises the team on site?

Each contract has named supervision and a single point of contact, so standards are checked in person rather than assumed from a rota.

Can you scale up for peaks?

Yes. Additional resource can be brought in for peak periods, projects and one-off deep cleans without changing your point of contact.

Project & operational delivery

What types of project do you deliver?

Accommodation and workforce mobilisation, facilities projects, contract mobilisation, operational support programmes and quality management workstreams.

How is progress reported?

Reporting is agreed at mobilisation — typically covering milestones, resourcing, risks, issues and quality checks — in a format your team can use internally.

Who is accountable for delivery?

A named delivery lead owns the project from award through to steady state, supported by a defined escalation route on both sides.

Procurement & supply

What can Recruitta supply?

Uniforms, PPE, cleaning consumables, catering supplies, workplace supplies and facilities consumables, sourced through manufacturer and wholesale partners.

Is this an online shop?

No. We operate as a managed supply partner, agreeing product specifications, volumes and delivery schedules around your operational requirement.

Can supply be combined with staffing or facilities contracts?

Yes. Consumables and uniforms are frequently supplied alongside cleaning, facilities and staffing contracts so ordering sits with one accountable partner.

Training

Who is the training for?

Candidates preparing for work, client teams needing role-specific readiness, and operational teams delivering on live contracts.

Is training linked to delivery?

Yes. Training is planned as part of mobilisation so people arrive ready for the standards, systems and expectations of the site.

Do you work with training partners?

Yes. Specialist provision is delivered with partners such as NuSprout Academy where accredited or sector-specific content is required.

Governance & social value

How is accountability structured on a Recruitta contract?

Each contract has a named delivery lead, defined responsibilities, agreed communication routes and a documented escalation process, all set before work begins.

How is quality assured?

Service standards are agreed up front, checked through on-site supervision and structured audits, and corrective actions are tracked to closure rather than closed on assertion.

How does Recruitta deliver social value?

Through local employment and recruitment, skills and training routes for people entering work, and commitments that can be measured and reported against public sector expectations.

Finding work

What kinds of work does Recruitta offer?

Temporary, contract and permanent roles across healthcare and social care support, hospitality and accommodation, cleaning and facilities, industrial and manufacturing, administration and business support, and supervisory roles.

How do I register for work?

Complete the candidate registration form with your experience, availability and preferred work type. A consultant then confirms suitable roles, we complete right-to-work and any role-specific checks, and you are booked onto assignments.

Do I need experience to register?

Not for every role. Some assignments require specific qualifications or checks, while others are open to people with the right attitude and availability, supported by induction and role briefing before the first shift.

Where are the roles based?

Work is available through our regional operations in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Plymouth, and through UK-wide assignments with our clients and partners.
